Calling it a party might actually be an understatement at this point because the line-up for this event is EPIC!
So let’s rephrase that…the countdown has begun for the ultimate OG celebration/ shindig/get-together for us…ma 1K, LOL!
Listen, the 2K’s are knocking us there on TikTok for being such pests towards them every chance we get but for this special occasion, they can’t touch us. As DJ Fresh said, many of the 2ks were made to the soundtrack of ma 1K!
We’re going down memory lane with the coolest artists, the most exhilarating throwbacks and the most epic music that has not only stood the test of time but also has the 2K’s in a tizz.
It’s the second edition of the anticipated Oskido’s Big Day Out and this year’s event promises to be bigger and better.
Oskido, multi-award winning producer extraordinaire, who has given us a legacy of music through various artists over the years, is giving us what we need this Summer.
An iconic line-up that includes powerhouses DJ Fresh, TKZee and DJ Cleo in the mix, will also see Zola 7 belt out his singalong hits and Admiral and Jahseed take us all the way back.
When last did you hear from Revolution? Maybe I have been living in a cave but the Amapiano wave has absolutely shut me out of music from this revolutionary duo. I’m already imagining my head bopping to Diphala and preparing my vocals for hitting Maduvha’s high notes in Light Of My Life.
The Musical Maestro and DJs@Work? You are kidding me! This is about to be a trance filled day. Will we even make it out of the hypnosis? Do we even want to?? I am amped!
Mafikizola and Malaika, seriously guys? You’re doing too much and I love it! The only question I have is whether we will be seeing Tshedi on stage…
DJ Zinhle will balance things for the different generations blending her old school and new school hits for all to enjoy.
DJ Kent will obviously blow our minds, right, because it’s DJ Kent! He is such a smooth operator, I cannot wait to get lost in his timeless mixes. Bobsta and Mgiftana will take us back to the days of street bashes and jamming to dope house sets while Kabza de Small will remind us why Amapiano has gone so viral around the world.
